Professional development
Our professional development services make a real difference to learning. We use an inquiry-based approach so that every step is guided by research that shows exactly what works for learners.
Our learning programmes are grounded in research that shows exactly what works for learners.
We offer support in leadership, literacy, assessment, and e-learning for New Zealand education. We also tailor our programmes to meet the needs of specific school communities. Our programmes can offer a blended approach of online communities, in-depth support, and workshops.
Our learning programmes aim to raise the achievement of learners of all ages and backgrounds – and evidence tells us that our programmes are successful
Professional Learning for Schools - 2012

As a school leader you’ll currently be planning with your community for the outcomes you want students to achieve in 2012 and beyond, and considering the best professional development for you and your teachers to support achieving those outcomes.
Learning Media’s professional learning team can support you and your teachers to assess the impact of your practices and respond in ways that accelerate your students’ progress. In partnership with you, we’ll design and deliver a professional learning and development programme that promotes teachers as adaptive experts who can apply their professional knowledge to particular learning problems.
Services available in 2012
